Picture Scroll of the History of Osaka Castle 400 years have passed since the foundation of Osaka Castle by Hideyoshi Toyotomi. The existing Osaka Castle, however, was reconstructed by the Tokugawa Shogunate. There remains no single piece of stone wall from the Toyotomi period.
